Albemarle-Pamlico Greenway Plan

The Conservation Fund developed the Albemarle-Pamlico Bioregional Greenway Plan as a proposed network of conservation corridors linking parks, wildlife refuges, education centers, and recreation areas in the 30,000 square-mile region.

The plan identifies green infrastructure as a sustainable economic development strategy focusing on heritage tourism, environmental education, stewardship, and associated economic development opportunities.
