A 501c3 non-profit public charity that promotes "restorative forestry" through the practice of "worst first" single tree selection and the ultimate low impact extraction technique or modern animal powered skidding. We educate the public as to the benefits of this approach and specifically train "Biological Woodsmen" through our network of proven practitioners as mentors to willing students as apprentices. Mission Statement: To address human needs for forest products while creating a nurturing coexistence between the forest and human community.
