Green Infrastructure Community of Practice

The Green Infrastructure Community of Practice is intended to function as a collaborative network of organizations and agencies that are actively involved in some aspect of the strategic green infrastructure approach to conservation and environmental protection or restoration. The Community of Practice will facilitate the exchange of information and ideas among peers and promote the application of green infrastructure thinking to the nation’s conservation and environmental priorities.

As part of this process, we are encouraging organizations to share information on their activities, expertise and resources they have to offer in the area of strategic conservation planning/green infrastructure. This information will be viewable by all interested parties.

Where is your organization placing its investments in green infrastructure (e.g., programmatic or geographic focus), what are the outcomes of your investments, and how does this relate to your organization’s mission?

Who are you key partners/collaborators, how are you working together and what are you needs for enhancing future collaboration?

What resources/tools do you have available to assist others pursing green infrastructure? Please provide URL(s) for these resources and/or any other projects you would like to share with others.

Who is the primary green infrastructure contact person in your organization?
