Triangle Region, NC

Triangle GreenPrint is a project to facilitate development of a regional vision for open space in the Triangle. It will provide information and tools to help land management organizations, citizens, and their elected representatives identify and protect a regional network of green space.

In February 2002, Triangle GreenPrint completed its first project - a regional open space assessment that identifies important green spaces in the Triangle. The maps included in the report are derived from a geographic information system (GIS) database developed with the help of over 140 open space professionals and local experts. The report and database are available by clicking on the appropriate hot links on this website.
