The Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative is a joint Canadian-U.S. network of over 340 organizations, institutions, foundations, and conservation-minded individuals who have recognized the value of working together to restore and maintain the unique natural heritage of the Yellowstone to Yukon region and the quality of life it offers.
The Yellowstone to Yukon conservation science and planning program is designed to implement the Y2Y vision. A fundamental step is to explicitly determine where our priorities lie. This is the thrust of our Conservation Area Design program. The objectives of this program are to develop a shared vision and agenda for conservation in the Yellowstone to Yukon region through the creation of a Conservation Area Design.
